What is college looking for?

Colleges are looking for students that have great personalities and what they have accomplished during their high school years, in china colleges looks grades that each student gets while taking the final exam of their high school year, the schools only looks at the grades and whatever the grades are they are put in whatever kind of schools. At an American college they look for basically everything that is important that includes extracurricular activities and what they did. For example for art, if someone is artistically gifted they are able to get scholarship and acceptance into a great college in that part. Colleges are mostly looking for bilinguals like Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans and other people that may know two or more than two languages. Students who have talents usually gets accepted based on that talent, schools tries everything to get good students to go to their school for example they give out scholarships and benefits for them. Colleges provide most of what a student will need while attending and most importantly college’s tries to build their surroundings with beautiful architectures and make their campus look wonderful to attract students as well. People tend to look at the environment while choosing a place where they want to go so the schools make themselves look better than other schools, students once accepted has to keep a certain GPA once accepted into a good school that is the requirement needed for some places like Harvard, Stanford, or Yale.
