Book review of "Wuthering Heights"

The story is very sad and deals with love, two characters falls in love with each other starting from the beginning of the book. When Heathcliff was brought back to the family of the adoptive father he was treated equal until his adoptive father dies and his true son inherits the property. He was then treated as a slave, bus still he spends time with Catherine who he loved from the beginning, the story is a tragic story in the end with both characters dying. The author of the book Emily Bronte, wants readers to feel very connected to the story making people feel the bond between character and them. The book is suggested for young readers as giving a brief introduction to what romantic tragedy really is, a guide through life for people. Although ending with both characters dying they also get to spend an eternity together without anyone stopping their love, in the beginning because of the path Catherine had chosen it resulted in this way as Heathcliff returns with a hate plan to make Catherine feel pain because he just found a way to inherit the family wealth including the house they stayed in when they were young. Although they may act like it they truly loved each other, this is a romantic novel suggested for young lovers as well to express in a way that although life may be rough sometimes people will finally get through them but not exactly ending in a tragedy but as to look at life fully.  

Soccer

For the past thirty years, the Chinese soccer team had finally blown away the Korean soccer team. It took them many years to accomplish something like this and shows that the Chinese has come out of being the worst to best players and shows the world what they have. Back then there are many coaches and apparently they didn’t do well in training the team or players to get along with each other, teamwork didn’t work too well within the group. It’s a major deal for the Chinese and people are now celebrating the victory stating that it was an embarrassment that they had never won a singer game against the Koreans and now finally the embarrassment is over and hopefully in the future we may remain as the top players and maybe even go to the world series instead of in Asia. The Koreans should be considered as a strong team and very difficult to win, I still remember in 2002 the Koreans was so good they got themselves into the top four semifinalist in the world cup plus soccer is the most popular sport in Korea so there are many people who joined soccer in Saipan, mostly of Koreans and some Chinese. David Xiang “Chinese power! China is so powerful man.” Chinese in school are very happy about the situation and proud of it. Looking forward to future winnings. Many Koreans seems to be upset but eventually they may get stronger and win someday but china will definitely improve as well. Although soccer may not be a popular sport amongst the students in SIS but there are some who are interested hopefully having young people do sports such as soccer.

What is college looking for?

Colleges are looking for students that have great personalities and what they have accomplished during their high school years, in china colleges looks grades that each student gets while taking the final exam of their high school year, the schools only looks at the grades and whatever the grades are they are put in whatever kind of schools. At an American college they look for basically everything that is important that includes extracurricular activities and what they did. For example for art, if someone is artistically gifted they are able to get scholarship and acceptance into a great college in that part. Colleges are mostly looking for bilinguals like Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans and other people that may know two or more than two languages. Students who have talents usually gets accepted based on that talent, schools tries everything to get good students to go to their school for example they give out scholarships and benefits for them. Colleges provide most of what a student will need while attending and most importantly college’s tries to build their surroundings with beautiful architectures and make their campus look wonderful to attract students as well. People tend to look at the environment while choosing a place where they want to go so the schools make themselves look better than other schools, students once accepted has to keep a certain GPA once accepted into a good school that is the requirement needed for some places like Harvard, Stanford, or Yale.
